Story Map Hierarchy

The Story Map Hierarchy page is located in the top navigation bar called “Hierarchy“.

To start navigating down the Story Map Hierarchy users will need to select a root Story Map. The root Story Map is the top/starting Story Map where you can start navigating down the Hierarchy.

To select a root Story Map either Search and select one in the search bar, or select the “Set global hierarch top“ button, which is next to the “View Type” field in the top right. If the “Set global hierarch top“ button is not visible, this is because an admin has not tagged a Story Map as the Global Hierarchy Top yet.

Story Map Hierarchy has two different views. "Tree view" and "Folder view" (new view). This can be cycled between via the “View Type” field, next to the search bar.

In the “Folder view“. Users can click the minus and plus signs to expand and collapse Story Maps. Clicking the downward arrow will fetch the children for the selected story map.

In the “Tree view“. Click the double-down arrows on a Story Map to further explore down the tree and fetch the children of the Story Map.
