Adding an Epic from the Initiative
Users can add Epics from an Initiative. Within each cross-section between an Activity and a Release group, there is an “Add“ icon. Clicking this icon will open a popup where the user can add an Epic.
In the popup, users will need to select the original release the Epic will go into. This is relevant if a user has clicked the “Add” icon in a release group containing multiple original releases. Then users will need to select either a Who/When/Data/Where or Free text as the epic name. This will be used as the Epic name. From this screen, users can either select existing Explore Items, if some exist already, or create new ones. Existing Explore Items will be shown in a drop-down. If the user doesn’t select an existing Explore Item the text in the field will be used to create a new one.
