Information list
Explore data items created for a particular Activity in a release are pooled and can be used in other releases and Story Maps. When creating a “When” for example. Selecting the text field will open up a select list containing all the Explore data items that exist for that activity under any Release in any Story Map. This list is searchable.

Explore Items in the list are meant to be a collection of all Explore Items that currently exist for a particular Activity.
Explore data in the list are not shared between Activities and removing different Activities (i.e. the items seen in Activity A will be different to those in Activity B).
Removing an Explore data item from an Activity in a Release will also remove it from the list if that was the only instance of that Explore Item.
